This is the third one. This presentation included demonstrations of discrepant events, analyzing them, explaining them, and evaluating them and\/or the explanation. In other words, engaging in <a href=\"https:\/\/dorjegurung.com\/blog\/2016\/07\/teach-for-nepal-critical-thinking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">critical thinking<\/a> processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorjegurung.com\/sciblog\/myp4-5-science\/\">Click here<\/a> for videos of the discrepant events mentioned in the presentation (Dancing Coin, Uncanny Can and Rubbery Egg), which are found on my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorjegurung.com\/sciblog\">Science Blog<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in what a sample solution&nbsp;expected of a MYP Year 2 and 3 students (7th and 8th graders) to a such tasks (which call &#8220;discrepant events&#8221;) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorjegurung.com\/sciblog\/myp2-3-science\/sample-puzzler-write-up\/\">click here<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dorjegurung.com\/sciblog\/myp4-5-science\/sample-de-write-up\/\">Click here<\/a> for a solution for the same discrepant event expected of MYP Year 4 and 5 students (9th and 10th graders).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once again, I had them provide anonymous reflections.
