Returning to Nepal 8 years ago, after spending most of the preceding 25 years abroad — first as a students and then as an international professional — one of the things I have been doing is to try to inspire Nepali children to dream big and do everything they can to reach as close to their human potential as possible. To that end, I have been involved in the dissemination of information about United World College scholarships as well as in the selection of the scholars.
Who I have become and where I have reached in life are so so much more than what Nepali society told me I could be and I could reach. And all that started with a scholarship to the United World College of the Adriatic.
