One year on, Kumveshwori Primary School has received no help from any organization or the government. As per our committment to help schools in the area, COMMITTED is trying all it can to raise the necessary funds for reconstruction.
I recently visited Thangpalkot. One of the things I did was record videos of the schools COMMITTED works with. This one is that of Taltuleshwori School, the reconstruction of which is almost complete.

Help my mate Pete and my buddy Sakar launch Nepal's first collaborative school by donating to their fundraising drive. They are raising a modest $10341 (£6826) to serve some of the poorest students in Kathmandu Valley. What the team has already accomplished since taking over the school is already commendable. These funds will go a long way in accomplishing what they have set out to do: turn the school around and show that huge investments are not necessary to accomplish that.

I talk to about my dreams and life and following dreams to classroom full of mostly Hispanic children, many of whom come from lower middle class or lower class families.

At a presentation to children and families from lower-middle class and lower class in Mexico, I share with them how I followed my dreams and beat the odds to achieve academic and professional success. I share with them how I did it, and to tell them to not lose hope!
I went and spoke to students at Montessori Del Pedregal about Nepal, the earthquake and the work COMMITTED is doing. The students at the school raised money on COMMITTED's behalf following the earthquake. I went to tell them what education and life was like for the children COMMITTED is trying to help.
