Another way the universe appeared to have conspired to send me home was the racism it sent my way! ;) I experienced a lot of harassment and abuse from locals in Baku as well as in Doha. I was also profiled by establishments in both the cities angering me greatly and compounding my depression, as well as adding to my weariness with moving and traveling. Nepal's attractiveness had been increasing steadily.

I am back..into teaching. This time teaching teachers in Nepal instead of international students abroad. I figured educating teachers in Nepal on how to impart critical thinking skills on student might have a bigger impact than teaching students at one school. From the late nineties, I have always wished that Nepal UWC committee would be able to send children from poor and/or marginalized backgrounds. All the time I have been involved in the committee, I have done what little I could to make that happen. This is the story of the things I did and the little gains we have made so far to that end.
