In rural Nepal, the innocence of children and their dreams are often stolen and lost, respectively, because of a lack of will on our leadership to do anything concrete to tackle poverty and lack of education. Often such children become victims of trafficking.

The difficulties 16 to 18 year olds face with our high school diploma examinations--SLC (School Leaving Certificate) examinations--has less to do with their lack of ability and more to do with the lack of ability of our money- and power-hungry, corrupt leadership.
