Project Update: December Visit to Thangpalkot
A wintry visit to our project site to add additional cages to the pond, to give a presentation about the fishery to the community, and to assess the financial conditions of families of some of the Dalit children attending Raithane School.

Social Business for Education farming projects, once set up, will generate income for the school making it self-sufficient. In the case of Raithane School. the project is a fishery, which we setup during this visit to the village.

Project Update: Fishery as an SBE
Sustainability of development projects is always an issue. In our efforts to ensure that our projects are sustainable, and addresses a number of related issues faced by struggling communities, we establish Social Business for Education (SBE) projects. The blog post describes in details what SBE is.
