Troll Nepal: Like Name, Like Post

I have come across Nepali men, in person, on social media and elsewhere, who, when discussing gender issues, display a very very remarkable lack of knowledge and understanding of the issues faced by our girls and women. In the process, they display their conceit, their complete ignorance of the patriarchal society we live in and how that benefits and privileges us, men.

This is just one example of that.

Singha Durbar: The “Singha” That’s Lost Its Roar?

Neither the physical structures and the state Singha Durbar is in nor those working inside the buildings in the complex on our behalf represent the country of Nepal. Those employed inside those compounds can't even maintain the facade of the main structure! The complex needs cleaning.

The biggest killer of Nepalese girls and women is suicide. Part of the reason has to do with Nepalese society not valuing female lives anywhere near as much as those of males in general and other social issues arising from cultural practices and mentality. There are things we, the Nepalese men, can do to change things around.
