Summer of 2012, considering returning to Nepal for good to work in the education of children from low socioeconomic background, I visited about ten government and community school in and around Pokhara, and accompanied my good buddy Jayjeev, COMMITTED's Executive Director, on a trip to Thangpalkot. This is a video, Jayjeev made, of that trip.
Social Business for Education farming projects, once set up, will generate income for the school making it self-sufficient. In the case of Raithane School. the project is a fishery, which we setup during this visit to the village.

In rural Nepal, the innocence of children and their dreams are often stolen and lost, respectively, because of a lack of will on our leadership to do anything concrete to tackle poverty and lack of education. Often such children become victims of trafficking.
